Festival Collective

Overview

Festival Collective is a compilation live album by Charlie Rivera and the Band (CRATB), released in 2038 and drawn from the band’s festival performances across nearly a decade. The album documents the evolution of CRATB’s live sound from the early 2030s through the late 2030s—the same window during which the studio catalog moved from Crip Time through Ritmos Hermanos and toward Midnight Architecture.

The compilation includes guest appearances from Romeo Santos and Karol G, reflecting the Latin-music collaborations that had become a sustained part of the band’s working life by the late 2030s.

Background

[Festival selection criteria, recording sources, mix approach: TBD]

The album functions as both a touring document and a snapshot of the band’s growing audience—the festivals captured span both jazz and Latin contexts, and the included material reflects how the band’s sound had become mobile across genres without losing its identity.
